DECORATIONS: If you would like to help decorate the church for Christmas, we will meet on Sunday November 30 at 5:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. We will not have Hanging of the Greens.
BROTHERHOOD: The Brotherhood Men are selling tickets for 5lb. sausage boxes for Christmas. The cost is $25 a box. Pick-up will be on Saturday December 6, 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Last day to purchase tickets will be on Sunday November 30.
LOTTIE MOON: The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering will start Sunday December 7. There will be a week of prayer starting Sunday November 30 - December 7. 100% of your offering supports missionaries who carry the gospel to the ends of the earth.
NURSING HOME MINISTRY: The Nursing Home Ministry will meet at Wilson Assisted Living Sunday December 7 at 1:30 p.m. and then Spring Arbor at 3:00 p.m.
POTATO BAR: The Potato Bar will be on Sunday December 7 at 6:00 p.m. Don’t forget to bring your favorite dessert. Call the office to sign-up.
The youth are hosting a Culver’s Fundraiser Monday December 8 starting at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. for next year’s Caswell Trip. They will receive 10% of all proceeds during these hours. Come out and show your support for our youth.
SENIOR MINISTRY: The Senior Ministry will meet at Bojangles (Nash Street) on Tuesday December 9 at 8:00 a.m.
CANTATA: Start inviting your family and friends to this year’s Cantata. It will be Sunday December 14 starting at 6:00 p.m.
OUTREACH: The Outreach Committee will meet on Saturday December 20 at 11:00 a.m.
CHRISTMAS CARDS: It’s that time of year again to drop off your Christmas Cards in the office. Please only send cards for the people that attend church as the office is not responsible in mailing out Christmas Cards. Last day to turn in cards will be Sunday December 14.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY: There will be a birthday party for Jesus on Sunday December 21 during church time. Please call the office to sign-up. This is for the children through 5th grade. Also, don’t forget to bring a baby gift for Choices Women’s Center.
YARD MINISTRY: We are currently in need of some decent sized yard-work projects. As you know, the Yard Ministry plays a huge part in funding so many of our Benevolent (charitable) efforts inside and outside our church walls. We will do any reasonably sized project in exchange for a donation to this ministry. We can use some more able bodies to help as well. Please contact Doug Walston or the Pastor for more information.
